Shanao and Lord Yoritomo’s cousin and leader of the Shinano Genji. Because he was raised in Kiso after his father’s death, he is sometimes called, "The Young Man of Kiso".

What he lacks in wisdom and class he more than makes up for in fighting skill and stamina. Despite his crass nature, he is skilled at bringing men to fight by his side.
